Figtree Hill Drive drainage

Numerous residents of Fig Tree Hill Drive have problems with the drainage from the roadway when water flows into their property.

• flooded buildings
• washed out gardens and driveways
• pools contaminated with muddy water
• recurring property drainage issues

In addition, the roadway is an eyesore with muddy and washed out verges. These cause traffic problems as well as cars tend to park out into the roadway in wet weather.

Ballina Shire Council needs to act to ameliorate these problems by installing lay back guttering (thus allowing cars still to park on the verges) and drains.

This petition will be submitted to council by a group of residents when sufficient people have signed.
