- organisation, publicity, putting up signs and posters, social media
- cooking or buying nibblies, milk etc for afternoon tea or supper
- setting up hall
- setting up refreshments
- checking people at the door and taking payments
- cleaning up and putting away

JOBS BEFORE Organise performers - Peter does this via email, Facebook etc Supper organiser Buy milk, teas, coffee and biscuits if needed(supper organiser, make cakes (cake volunteers) Door person Organise float for payments ( we haven’t been doing this lately) Print the entry / dinner list (Ross or Peter) Get keys from shop if Sheila or Peter not there. Stage storeroom key from Sheila or Peter. SET UP HALL Most small equipment is located in the stage storeroom, smaller items in the yellow topped box or clear plastic box in stage storeroom. It should be returned there. Open toilets and check clean and toilet paper (more in stage storeroom) Open windows when warm, get out heater when cold Put out chairs and tables, tablecloths on little ones Put out rubbish (bag lined) and recycling bins with recycling card Put up wall hangings Arrange flowers Write up program on whiteboard Carpet on stage floor, lamp to highlight wall hanging. ORGANISE FOOD AND DRINK Buy fresh supplies beforehand (Supper organiser) Set up urn, cups, water glasses and jugs on large wooden table on deck. Ten minutes before the break, check urn, put out tea, coffee, milk and refreshments. Clear up plates and help with washing up Supper organiser Note levels of tea and coffee, and purchase supplies before next show. Alternatively, alert next supper organiser of needs so they can purchase. SOUND STAGE AND LIGHTING Set up sound system Set up stage lighting plug in power and cable for Obey DMX controller. Power on. Turn on grey light switch near entry door. all sliders down, press 1,2, 3 and 4 Bring sliders up to get balance (red, green, blue, amber) TUF ORGANISE AND OPERATE THE DOOR (1 OR 2 PEOPLE) Set up money drawer with float (raffle tickets under the liftout section) Card payments Install Square app on your phone Go to Library and choose Entry. Select the appropriate entry amount Click review sale Click charge $xxx, then present phone to payee to tap card or phone to pay Check all is ok, ask if they want receipt. For supper donations, choose that from the library and follow the above steps. DOOR MONEY Collect door entry money. $10, $5 member/concession. At the end, count and give to Ross (Treasurer) or Peter with the tallied amount. Supper money is tallied separately, but can be added to the door and food money before final count. AFTER THE BREAK Ross give $100 to featured artist Ross Give petty cash to people who have bought milk etc. Put receipts in the bag. CREATE AND FILL IN A MONEY IN / OUT SHEET. PUT IN BAG put all money in plastic bag, and give to Ross or other designated $ person with breakdown of takings and payments. Keep money bag safe - to Jenny or Peter (or in his bright plastic carry bag) welcome song
