Lime And Steel
Sunday January 29, 4pm

With special guest Kwinton Trembath (Button Collective)

With roots-down banjo fiddle grooves, dust kickin' hoedowns and small town regrets, Lime and Steel roll out a show of original songs that splash on just the right amount of paint to get a loving glimpse of the darker side of the Australian soul.

From their home in the Blue Mountains to folk festivals up and down the East Coast of Australia, this 4 piece pour out folk noir ballads and foot-stomping bogan bluegrass love-songs, cut with equal parts of charm and cheap wine.

Roots down banjo-fiddle grooves and original songwriting gems, cut with equal parts charm and cheap wine.
A tent boxing call-up on the culture wars crossed with a wine-soaked family singalong

"Earthy, poignant and fun....Economic delivery understates some very fine musicianship"

Trad and Now

"Humour, pathos, infectious melodies...and heartfelt harmonies create a homey sing-along setting"
Rhythms Magazine
