Brendan Gallagher
Tintenbar Hall
Friday March 2 @7:30

Karma County front man and ARIA award winner Brendan Gallagher casts a long shadow in Australian music - over thirty records in as many years, more than half as an artist.
Producer of indigenous luminaries like Jimmy Little, LJ Hill, Emma Donovan, Kutcha Edwards and Oz music icons Doc Neeson, Jeremy Oxley, Jesse Younan, Dave Mason & more, prolific songwriter, author of The Open Tuning Chord Book For Guitar, one off session guitarist for David Bowie and more.

In recent years Brendan has been establishing connections and a live following in Italy. In early 2017 he travelled to Bologna to play some shows with friends Aldo Betto (guitar), Giacomo Da Ros (bass) & Youseff Ait Bouazza (drums) - The Magnolia Orchestra.

Afterwards they travelled to Yellow Fridge Road, Daniele Di Giovanni’s home studio in the Tuscan seaside town of Porto Santo Stefano, to record an album of ten new songs. Daniele was Karma County’s long time tour manager/FOH and is a legend in Australian music circles.

Brendan heads out in early March for a handful of solo dates playing new tracks from Short & Sweet, and some old favourites from his extensive catalogue of songs.
